For infrared analysis the user has a number of accessories in both hardware and software that can be used to make sample analysis efficient. The presentation highlights the main sampling modes of analysis with infrared. During the presentation samples are run live using Omnic software and a Nicolet iS10 FTIR spectrometer. Brief but important aspects of Omnic are presented to generate interest for discussions during breaks. |

Results are presented covering different applications where a sample is better served from a microscopic point of view. Integrated videos during the presentation demonstrate advantages of design for the Continuum microscope and powerful software features of Picta software which is used with the iN10 FTIR microscope. |
